Since 1980, Camp Alandale has been sharing Jesus' love, hope, and healing with abused children through an outdoor camping program. Children are invited who have been taken from their homes because of abuse or neglect and are living in foster homes or group homes. Children from Orange and Riverside Counties attend camp at our facility in Angelus Oaks near Big Bear. We're excited to see what the Lord will do as He reaches out to more and more of these precious children.

Camp Alandale's program is designed to be very safe and personal for the children, with a camper to counselor ratio of 2-to-1 and only 24 children per week in the summer. During the winter months, the ratio is 1-to-1 over a weekend with only 12 children. There is no cost for campers or counselors. All of the counselors are Christian volunteers, thoroughly screened through an application, face-to-face interview, and fingerprinting.

Camp Alandale is one of only a few ministries helping the "orphans of our day" hear about Jesus' love and healing touch.
